Betty
was reared in St. Cloud, FL, and attended grade and high school
at Kissimmee High School, Kissimmee, FL. Writing Wired for
Murder fulfilled a lifelong dream because she’s
always been interested in people and the details of their lives.
The Big Payback, a psychological thriller, is partly
a figment of her imagination combined with events in the lives
of people she has known. Murder Unwired, released
in October 2003, and The Whitlow Sanction: Volume I,
published in December 2003, have kept the dream alive. Her latest
book, The Arcana Connection, the sequel to The
Big Payback, was introduced in September 2004.
When asked what possessed her to write her books, she says they’ve
been works waiting to happen. They incubated during the ten years
she worked as a federal employee in Atlanta and finally manifested
themselves after her many years as a Verizon Communications Human
Resources Specialist.
Betty’s interests now are her writing, her love for reading,
and her long obsession with vintage clothing. As former owner
and CEO of Betty B’s Vintage Clothing and Collectibles,
she enjoys the thrill of the hunt. You can usually find her haunting
the alleyways in search of a "find" or at home with
her husband, James, writing her sixth novel, Wired Straight,
the last book of the "Wired" trilogy. Later,
look for The Whitlow Sanction: Volume II and III
and the culminating saga of the "Payback" trilogy,
The Final Vision. Her immediate family and friends
are never far away.
